Example 1: Share

Your customer shares a photo of their completed project on Facebook + on Instagram.

2 shares = 2 x £5 = £10

You purchase a £10 Digital Gift Card and send the link to your customer via SMS or WhatsApp.

Same process for rewarding Referrals - just a larger amount - whatever you decide to offer and honour.

Example 2: Referral

A referred new driveway project is booked and deposit received - send the referrer £100 reward.

You're always in full control of reward amount and who is rewarded.

Customer Facing Buddy Assets

The following digital assets are where your customers engage with the Buddy system.

Buddy Completion Hub is where your customers are taken when they scan the QR code on the Buddy Card with their phone.

On Buddy Completion Hub you can let your customer know what they will receive as a thank you gift for sharing on their socials.

You are in full control of how you reward your customers for taking action - say £5 per photo post + positive commet per platform as a minimum.

Share Buddy

Customers who take action and share on their socials are guided to send a screenshot of the post to you via WhatsApp or text.

You review the Share and determine if it is authentic.

You will recognize both the project and the customer.

Easy to verify with no possibility of illegetimate reward claims.

Maximum 1 Share per platform per customer.

Standard platforms are: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok.

If you prefer to not show certain platforms they can be hidden - but minimum of Facebook as a Social Share option is required.

Customers are incentivised with an appropriate thank you to Share on their social account(s).

While they are in Buddy Completion Hub they are invited to post a review on Google - to be Google compliant there is no incentive or reward to make a Google review.

Buddy system is 100% Google compliant and ethical - but because:

• the customer is at the optimal time and state of mind (successful project just completed and impressed by your service)

• the Google Review button is right there

the likelihood they will actually submit a review is high.

Customers post reviews when:

• they are in the right state of mind (feeling positive about your service and happy to help your business)

• they are asked to post one

• there is a clear and easy path for them to complete the task

Consistently hand out Buddy Cards at the optimal time and you will establish what Google values most highly: Recent and Regular reviews aka Review Momentum

Review Buddy

The customer journey will ideally begin with you handing them your Buddy Card at the point of project completion.

You don't need to do anything with these assets - they work quietly in the background.

You just advise how you would like a couple of specs set - that's it. Done.

Each of these assets is explained below.

Buddy Completion Hub

Buddy system is designed to work 100% on mobile, because your customers can take a photo of the completed project, share it on their socials on their phone.

On the reverse side of your Buddy Card is an invitation for your customers to refer their friends, family etc to your business.

An incentive is given in the form of a reward for a confirmed project going ahead that was referred to you.

Buddy Referral Hub

You decide the reward - it should be appropriate for your business depending on the typical value of a new project.

The reward should also be honoured.

Referrals may come from a customer immediately - a few weeks/months down the road or not at all.

Customes vary - some are introverts, some are extroverts, some are well-connected and others not so much.

Referral Buddy simply plants the seed of an idea into their head that referrals from your awesome business are rewarded.

When a referal opportunity comes along they will probably remember and Referral Buddy provides a clear path for them to take the necessary steps.
